The Han Shan Sih Buddhist Society Bursary for Environmental Studies (MES)
Purpose:
The Han Shan Sih Buddhist Society Bursary is an award intended to provide financial aid to students in the MES program of the Faculty of Environmental Studies or graduate students with a research focus in religious, spiritual or ethical issues.
Eligibility:
This award is open to incoming graduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Environmental Studies at York University. Student must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and an Ontario resident.
Criteria:
- Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident;
- be an Ontario resident;
- demonstrate financial need on a bursary application;
- be an incoming student registered in the graduate program at FES.
Selection process:

Number of awards:
2 (financial or more) and 1 (research or more)
Value of award:
Minimum of $2,000 financial (approximately) and minimum of $5,000 research (approximately)
