Resource Management Law

This seminar is concerned with the comparative evaluation of the various regulatory techniques employed with respect to the management of Canada's primary resources. Both renewable and non-renewable resource sectors will be considered; in particular, water, petroleum, natural gas, forestry, mineral (and uranium if time permits) resources. The dominant theme of the seminar will be an examination of the differing perspectives of various branches of industry, consumers utilities, government and public interest branches of industry, government and public interest groups.
