World Vision

This is a three-year food security, livelihoods and gender project being implemented in seven states in South Sudan by a consortium of three international organizations (World Vision, CARE and Oxfam. Geographic information systems (GIS) software will be used to process data on the project indicators to be collected at the household level to document the effectiveness of the FEED theory of change. World Vision will further analyze data by running regression analysis against the indexes that will be used to identify the main drivers of vulnerability and to serve as a decision making tool. York University’s Faculty for Environmental Studies has been engaged to validate the efficacy of the methodology used by triangulating the results and affirming the methodology is a sound way of understanding risks at a community level.
